Best friends are those who always compliant and demand but makes feel that they are still special and close. They are a family, not a part of family.

Frequently spotted together in public and not so public events, the bond they share is pretty apparent as they shared with us their so many awe moments when together. Here is a friendly chit chat with the happening besties.

Want to know what happens between best friends, which is also known as the “best friends reality”?  Here it is, “best friends reality”; they laugh till tear rolled down their eyes, and they have myriad of lies, never ending gossips, stupid fights, endless memories (too many to count) between them. It is true when someone said that best friends are the chocolate chips of life; they definitely add an extra crunch to your life.

Many have a best friend; some of you might have known each other from your childhood and grew up together, or you might have met each other at school, college or work place.  Best friends are the family we get to choose. Just like our family they are always there for us to provide us company when we are in sheer need of one. Despite our short comings, they love us unconditionally and accept us the way we are.

We communicate with them everything without even having to say a word.  We make promises to each other, some spoken out a loud and some silently.  We weave in and out of touch but deep down in our hearts we know that we got each other’s back.  We might not always be with each other physically, but we are never emotionally apart from each other.

I do not have my family here in Nepal as they are based overseas so she is like an extended family.  So I feel extremely lucky to have the friendship that we share.

The multi -talented beauty queen-cum-model-cum-actress Nisha Adhikari and Hrishant Bipashwa Rai have known each other for more than six years now.  They first met each other in 2011 during an event and since then they started hanging out and started going to functions together. Read on to know more about this friends duo.

Did you hit off instantly when you first met?

Nisha: Well, it took time.  We first met during an event of Hangers at Imago Dei.  I still remember he was sitting all quiet and observing everything. I thought he was a very peaceful and laid back person and I like people who do not talk much, so I liked him.  Off course he proved to be something else later (laugh) but once we had that bonding, it was a different story. It was a natural process for us as we went with the flow.

Hrishant: It just took its course.  It was not like we bonded immediately, rather we got to know each other, and we shared good vibes.  This is how it all started.

What does Nisha mean to you?

Hrishant: I feel very blessed to find a very close friend in her and also she is like a soul sister to me. I do not have my family here in Nepal as they are based overseas so she is like an extended family.  So I feel extremely lucky to have the friendship that we share. She does not make me miss my family as much when I am with her. The way she has been to me has been like an elder sister.

What keeps you both together and why?

Nisha: Acceptance that is the only word. He can be anything in life now.  He can behave in anyway he wants, and he can say anything he wants to say.  But the kind of love, affection, the kind of drive that I have regarding this relationship is to encourage him for his own growth.  This feeling of mine towards him is never going to change. Yes, at times he does make me fume, or we both have difference of opinions but then we have known so many elements of each other for so long now and we are still together means  we have immense level of acceptance.

Hrishant: Yes, accepting the other person regardless of the flaws they have is what it is.

How will you describe each other in three adjectives?

Nisha: Kind, patient and beautiful inside–out.

Hrishant: It will be very difficult to describe in just three words, give me at least five (well, we granted). She is very bubbly, focused, beautiful person inside–out, very compassionate and driven.

Three qualities that your friend has that you wish you too had.

Nisha: Oh that would be everything. I wish I was exactly like you Hrishant (laughs). Well, I think I wish I had his patience. I am patient in my own way but not as he is. Next is his tolerance level and the last is he is very adaptable and adjustable anywhere and everwhere.   I do not want these qualities to the extent he has, but then a little bit of all these ingredients.

Hrishant: I wish to someday build goodwill that she has.  The next is she has a thirst for learning which is something I do not have.  I am very lazy that way.  And the third quality is she is very sporty and adventurous and I wish I too were inclined towards them.

Among you two who is good in keeping secrets?

Hrishant: I think we both keep each other’s secrets. We have not leaked out one another’s secret till date. The things that we talk about together we do not go elsewhere and share.

What is the craziest thing that you have done together?

Nisha: We had a road trip to Rautahat in 2013 for me that was one crazy thing that was also really scary.  But Hrishant was all calm and laid back.  We come across so many crazy situations but those are never crazy enough for him, as he does not react. So the bottom line is, nothing is crazy (laughs).

Do you take professional advices from each other?

Nisha: Yes we do take advice from each other many times, be it professional or personal. We both are very strong headed. So if we like any advice we take it, and if we do not like it than we drop it.

Hrishant: Yes we do because we are in the same field. It is a show biz industry that we are in, we both are creatively inclined.  She is an artist, and I work with artist, so yes we are always giving our inputs to each other.

What do you enjoy doing together the most?

Nisha: I enjoy travelling with him. Normally I am the one who is usually driving and he is besides me.  So we talk, chat, and listen to some crazy funky music.
