Does Liam know about his mother?

Oh yes, off course. If I show him her picture, he will right away say it ‘MAMU’. Every morning we bow down to Prerana’s picture and he too comes there running and does the same, also he kisses her picture and calls her mum. So yes he recognizes her.

 

(While the interview was still on Manoj called Liam to him, and showed Prerana’s pictures which was in his mobile and asked him who she was. That little muffin (Liam) who was busy playing at that moment came to his father and answered in his stumbled voice ‘MAMU’. That was the moment for me. I was shattered inside. It was getting really difficult for me to hold on my tears and continue the interview. I just wanted to hug him real tight.)

 

What is it like to be a single father?

You always miss the presence of your kid’s mother. Now I can completely relate to the mother’s love, as I know now what does mother’s love mean in real.Everyone understands that love but people keep forgetting it till it is around you, but only after they are no more with you, you understand their importance and value it. But raising him was not so difficult. As of now he is raised by my in – laws but yes he was there with me during the initial days and it was not so difficult.

 

What was it like to see your junior for the very first time?

Seeing your own child for the very first time, the feeling was just amazing. Actually no words can describe that feeling.He is the part of your body, part of your life, it is the most precious gift, and what should I say? When you have your own baby you will know it better than I do. When they start walking, when they start talking, everything is just so amazing.

 

How would you define your relationship with Liam?

We are the soul mates. Since now itself we get along really well.He means everything to me.

 

What in Liam reminds you of your childhood?

I was a little stubborn when I was a kid and so is he. Else than that, during my childhood whenever I learnt something new I used to gather people and show them what I have learnt, exactly the same, whenever people come to our place, Liam gets his stuffs and starts showing to them. Whether it be his dance, his guitar or anything else. I liked to get the attention and he too is in the same path.

 

What are some of the things that you love doing when you are with Liam?

We like clicking pictures together.  More than that he keeps showing me musical stuffs. We listen to music when we are together as he likes listening to music. Rather than me he is the one who encourages me to play music. He is still very young so obviously he can’t read books but he likes to go through the books and just flip the pages, he likes to play with the colors so we do that together. We play ball and boxing – boxing (laughs).

 

What is the best thing about having a child?

I think the best thing about having a child is you go more responsible as a person as you have the sense of responsibility. All of a sudden your maturity level doubles up. It all changes over night and you find everything interesting.

 

How mischievous or naughty is he?

Umm….. He actually is not. He is just too sweet. In fact he does not even cry a lot. It is very easy to entice him.

 

Are there any similarities between Liam and Prerana?

Yeah off course, there are tons actually. Looks wise he is more like his mom, you can see his silky hair. He is a very fussy eater like his mother. She only liked good and tasty food.

 

Describe Liam in one word.

I will need two words for that, 'My World'.
