It is pretty straightforward…. you have to adopt a healthy lifestyle to be healthy. This means you have to focus on your diet, and your exercises and upgrade your environment. We are all familiar with the word ‘aromatherapy’. Aroma means fragrance and therapy means treatment. This is a holistic approach to healing and treatment using natural plant extracts.

Ever since Covid, aromatherapy has gained more recognition in the fields of science and medicine.

This ancient art of herbalism can greatly enhance your health in so many ways. I am a herbalist to the core using them every single day.

Whether it is to help me relieve my stress, help me with my digestive issues, help me sleep better, calm my coughs, or build up my immunity, I reach out to my stash of herbs.

The fun part is growing your herbs. You don't need a huge plot of land to grow them. They can be grown in small boxes in your kitchen, it is as simple as that. Try and grow herbs in your small patch and see how they make a noticeable difference to your mood, stress levels, sleep quality, breathing, and overall wellness.

At the moment I am growing eight different herbs and they have been extremely easy to grow. The added perk of growing herbs in my garden is they shoooo away pests keeping my flowers safe.

You can grow your culinary herbs, tea herbs, fragrant herbs, and medicinal herbs all in one go. Most herbs like mint, basil, and chives grow best with full sun and light, well-drained, moisture-retentive, fertile soil with plenty of organic matter incorporated.

However, there are certain herbs like rosemary, lavender, and thyme that don’t like to be watered too much. It pays to keep such matters in mind when growing any plant. In my experience, it is best to spend time and money growing the herbs that you eat the most instead of trying to grow everything.
