On the thirteenth floor of Imperial Court in Sanepa lies apenthouse apartment, an architectural space with amazing décor, and surrounded with a balcony overviewing the entire Kathmandu city.
The penthouse has an incredibly beautiful architectural design that serves both utility and décor. Architect designer, Suman Karmacharya chose a very neutral theme to create this peaceful haven. The muted tones bring calm and peace but the furniture and other details seem to trigger excitement and balance out as a whole.
The walls have wooden paneling on them and are pure white. Other attached furniture and shelves too are all white. All these whites around the place are a bit too verwhelming at the thought of getting even a single stain on them. However,the utility based features of the décor compel you to lose that thought.

The car pet too has rich bluish detail on them hitting you with nostalgia. The guest room space has a neo classical feel to it. It showcases beautiful neoclassical era inspired chairs and sofas in a darker shade of blue with the same kind of edgy carpet leaving a royal impression.
The kitchen is more of black and white color themed. It’s well designed with all the essential equipment of course, but the black granite kitchen tops are mesmerizing. The breakfast table and the lights above them complete the dream kitchen idea all so well.It isn’t too lavish and oh so special butthe b/w theme is too satisfying, portraying its minimalistic features with only necessary things.
Clean and neutral is anything but boring. The bedrooms upstairs are clean, white andperfectly illuminated, so relaxing to the mind that you wouldrather choose to sleep in those bedrooms as your stress relieving therapy.The master bedroom comes with a huge walk-in closet and a bathroom bigger than the other ones. Apart from these things, the amazing part is the attached wardrobes and closets and the hidden storage spaces.
