Aloft Kathmandu Thamel Commemorates Sixth Anniversary with CSR Activity at Aamako Ghar

On the occasion of its sixth anniversary, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel reaffirmed its commitment to meaningful community engagement by organizing a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in collaboration with Aamako Ghar, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing shelter and care to homeless senior citizens and children across Nepal.
As part of the initiative, the Aloft team visited Aamako Ghar’s residential facility to conduct a comprehensive hygiene treatment, creating a cleaner and healthier living environment for the residents. The team also distributed essential items, including fresh linen for daily use and warm baked cookies for the residents.
This initiative underscores Aloft Kathmandu Thamel’s dedication to responsible hospitality, guided by the vision of Chairman Mr. Prithvi Bahadur Pande, the continued support of Managing Director Mr. Maheshwor Prakash Shrestha, and the collective commitment of the Board of Directors, Management Team, and associates.
Mr. Vikram Singh, General Manager of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, shared: “As we celebrate six years of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, we wanted to engage with our community in a
meaningful way by continuously supporting Aamako Ghar. This experience is a reminder that every small act of kindness matters.”
Established in 1999, Aamako Ghar has provided shelter, dignity, and care to Nepal’s most vulnerable, creating a compassionate home for those with nowhere else to turn.
As the hotel steps into its seventh year, Aloft Kathmandu Thamel remains committed to vibrant, purpose-driven hospitality that uplifts the community and fosters positive impact beyond its walls.
