At Shambala Garden on the 10th of November, the Team of Hotel Shangri-La, Kathmandu organized their annual Christmas Cake Mixing Ceremony.

At Shambala Garden on the 10th of November, the Team of Hotel Shangri-La, Kathmandu organized their annual Christmas Cake Mixing Ceremony. The event was graced by Ms Sadichha Shrestha( Miss Nepal World 2010), Ms Barsha Lekhi ( Miss Nepal International 2016), Ms Roshani Lekhi Miss Nepal Earth 2016 and Mr Subarna Chettri ( Chairman, Hidden Treasure) along with numerous dignitaries and Friends of Shangri-La. 

Cake mixing for Christmas has been an age-old tradition in Christian Belief and since Hotel Shangri~La, Kathmandu has been celebrating this festive spirit with its guest all these years. Our Executive Chef, Vikram Kumar and his team have done a wonderful preparation for the Cake Mixing Ceremony. In this event, our special guests from the travel industry and the corporate world, the celebrities and our in-house guest will join us for this immensely popular event. All these ingredients are mixed well and stored until Christmas to prepare the traditional Plum cakes. On Christmas Eve, this mixture will be blended with cake batter to make cakes, cookies, stolen bread, mince pie, Yule log any many more...
