Prime Minister Honors Nabil Bank at FNCCI's 59th AGM

Kathmandu — The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has honored Nabil Bank Limited as the highest tax-paying bank during its 59th Annual General Meeting and Industry and Commerce Day 2081 (Nepali calendar), held at a special event. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented the certificate of recognition to the Acting CEO of the bank, Manoj Kumar Gyawali.

The bank was recognized with a certificate in appreciation of its significant contribution to the national economy by paying the highest amount of tax among banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies during the fiscal year 2079/80 (2022/23).

Earlier, the Government of Nepal also honored Nabil Bank on National Tax Day for being the highest tax-paying bank in the financial, banking, and insurance sector for the fiscal year 2079/80, presenting it with a certificate of recognition.

Nabil Bank has previously received similar recognition as the highest tax-paying bank for the fiscal years 2067/68, 2070/71, 2071/72, 2073/74, 2075/76, 2076/77, and 2077/78 as well.
