Taste of Punjab at Nooks, Hotel Aloft Kathmandu

Aloft Kathmandu Thamel is set to host a unique culinary celebration with Fables of Punjab, a food festival that brings the rich, vibrant flavors of 1800s Punjab to the heart of Kathmandu. Running from December 12–14 and 19–21, the festival will showcase the legendary gastronomic heritage of Punjab, featuring dishes inspired by the diverse regions of Multan, Lahore, Amritsar, and the North West Frontier Province. Renowned chefs—Chef Abdul Haleem, a master of traditional Indian cuisine with roots in Lucknow's kebab legacy, and Chef Rajeev Shrestha, the hotel’s Executive Chef, known for his innovative flair—will guide guests through this culinary journey. Held at Nook at Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, the event promises an unforgettable experience, offering spice-infused delicacies, slow-cooked masterpieces, and a chance to savor the timeless flavors of Punjab. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or a curious adventurer, Fables of Punjab offers an exquisite taste of history and culture.
