The all-new BMW iX1 Electric SAV, now in Nepal

The BMW iX1 Electric SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) has been introduced in Nepal, marking a significant milestone in the country's automotive industry. The BMW iX1 eDrive20, an all-electric variant of the compact SAV, offers a more affordable entry into the premium electric mobility market. The compact SAV is powered by an electric motor with a maximum output of 150 kW/204 hp and a range of 430 to 475 kilometers. The iX1 eDrive20 is available in Nepal at an introductory price of NRs.1,49,96,000. The iX1 eDrive20 uses the current fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology, generating an instantaneously available maximum torque of 250 Nm and a maximum output of 150 kW/204 hp. The high-voltage battery, housed in the vehicle floor, has a usable energy content of 64.78 kWh, contributing to its favorable power consumption and excellent range. The Combined Charging Unit of the iX1 eDrive20 enables AC charging with up to 11 kW as standard, allowing the battery to be charged from zero to 100% of its capacity within 6.5 hours. Three-phase AC charging with an output of up to 22 kW is optional, reducing charging time to 3:45 hours. The battery's state of charge can be increased from 10 to 80 percent within 29 minutes at a fast charging station.
