How about beating the heat with sorbet this summer? No matter how much we hate the scorching sun, getting to have ice creams and cold drinks is always fun. If you are approaching a healthy life and food, Sorbet can be the best one.

Ingredients:

  1. 3 and a half cups of diced Watermelon.
  2. 1 tablespoon of Lime juice.
  3. Raw honey or maple syrup to your taste. 
  4. Cup of water as per the need.

Procedure: 

  • Remove the rind from a seedless watermelon and dice it into small pieces.
  • Place the diced Watermelon over a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Freeze the watermelon until completely solid. It should take at least 3-4 hours or leave overnight would be easier.
  • Place the frozen water into the bowl of a food processor.
  • In the food processor, add the lime juice and raw honey/ maple syrup.
  • Now, it’s the time to blend until smooth texture.
  • You may need to add a little warm water as well. 
  • Transfer the soft watermelon texture into a freezer-safe container and freeze until firm. (approx. 3-4 hours)
