Ingredients

For four servings

Two chicken breasts

One teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

One egg, beaten

¾ cup flour (100 g)

One green pepper, sliced

One red pepper, sliced

Chilli sauce

Three cloves garlic cloves, crushed

One red chilli, chopped

Three tablespoons of soy sauce

Two tablespoons of tomato puree

½ cup water (100 mL)

Preparation

  1. Take the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  2.  You can slice the chicken into thin strips.
  3.  Coat the chicken strips with egg wash and flour.
  4.  Take a non-stick pan and shallow fry for a few minutes on each side until golden brown texture.
  5. Add the peppers of your choice and fry for another couple of minutes. 
  6.  Set them aside in a separate bowl.
  7.  Add the garlic, red chilli, soy sauce, tomato puree, and water.
  8. Stir and simmer until the mixture reduces and is thick and syrupy.
  9.  Add the chicken and peppers that you had set aside earlier.
  10. Stir them well together in the sauce and enjoy!
