A three-course meal, beautiful restaurant, splendid ambiance, kind people, and delicious food. That was the vibe of Akari and Koko, Vivanta.

  1. Tom yam Prawn soup:

Tom Yam Prawn soup was a perfect appetizer. The tanginess from the tomato and lemongrass, little mushrooms to add flavor, and prawns took the dish to a different level. The soup was full of nutrition and deliciousness. The galangal and some Makroot leaves were an addition to the already tasty.

  1. Akari Crispy Prawn:

Akari crispy prawn was quite interesting. “You eat with your eyes first”, is truly said. The plating was beautiful and the juicy prawn completely Crisped was full of flavors. We could taste Garlic, chili, and spices, tomato, which was topped with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Every ingredient came together to bring out the wholesome deliciousness. Highly recommend you to visit there, especially with your family.

  1. Philadelphia roll:

Philadelphia roll was sushi rolls with Japanese rice, and tofu, topped with Tobiko. It was so full of flavors and you could tell it was fresh. Dipping into the served Japanese Mayo, Wasabi flavored Ginger, cucumber, and soy sauce was perfect. And it is fun when Tobiko pops in your mouth. If you love Sushi, you must try their Philadelphia roll.

  1. Barbeque chicken dim sum:

Dim sum is love. The cute basket and when the lid is opened, the steamy hot Barbeque Chicken Dim sum smiling at you to be eaten. The wrap was red and chewy so I reckon it was rice paper. They were not skimping on the barbeque chicken stuffing. It was a thick flavorful Dim sum served with three different Achaar. You have to try them.

  1. Thai Fried rice:

Let’s talk about the main course here. What could be better than Thai Fried rice? Every spoonful had something to discover. One time you find greens and tomatoes, and then onions and broccoli. The fresh red chili, peanut oil, jasmine rice, exotic vegetables, topped with pieces of tomatoes, cucumber, and lemongrass was to the point.

  1. Thai green chicken curry:

Thai green chicken curry sits on your tongue. It had a very powerful taste and when served with white rice balanced out the flavor. It needed a companion (Rice). The bowl of curry had chicken, galangal, cilantro, garlic, makroot leaves, and green chili. All the good deliciousness in one bowl and the color green made it stand out.

  1. Wok tossed Chinese greens:

Thai fried rice and Thai green chicken curry were missing something. You know what? Wok tossed Chinese greens! Exotic Chinese greens, brown garlic, soy, cashew, and tomatoes tossed with peanut oil completed the main course. If greens are cooked that way, eating healthy gets much easier. They were of decent proportion to share if you happen to visit with your friends/family.

  1. Tub Tim Grob:

Summer is here and Tub Tim Grob goes so well with the weather. The temperature is going up and after all those foods we need something like a fresh cold dessert. We couldn’t have asked for a better dessert. The coconut milk, crunchy Water chestnut, tapioca flour, rose syrup, freshly squeezed coconut milk, and crushed ice came together as a refreshing delicious dessert. Highly recommend it.
