Finding this particular restraint can be a bit challenging at first but that to comes with its own perks, within this culinary haven, beckoning connoisseurs to plunge into an odyssey across the intricate narrative of Japanese ramen, each bowl emerges as an artisanal marvel—a testament to the fusion of ancient secrets and cutting-edge culinary finesse.

The restaurant's noodle maker can be seen working in the bar area, allowing guests to watch their food being prepared. Shelving behind the bar, which displays the sake collection, was built using wood salvaged during the renovation of the space.

The menu reads like a love letter to traditional ramen, featuring a carefully curated selection of noodle bowls that pay homage to regional styles from across Japan. From the soul-soothing richness of Hakata-style tonkotsu to the delicate refinement of Sapporo miso ramen, each offering is a culinary pilgrimage, inviting guests to explore the nuances of Japanese noodle culture.

 

For the review I had the privilege of testing a few dishes that were perfectly crafted by the head chef of the restaurant. Each dish that they offered was extremely delicious with the flavour and the way in which the dishes were made really stand out. Recollecting my time at the restaurant, each dish was perfectly made. The maestro of my taste adventure! Picture this: vibrant spinach pirouetting in a velvety sesame symphony. Each bite, a choreography of nutty indulgence and a whisper of sweetness. Simple in appearance, yet a canvas of complex flavors that left my palate singing. This unassuming appetizer has stealthily claimed its throne as my culinary muse—a testament to the magic concealed in seemingly ordinary dishes. Gomae, the unsung hero of flavor exploration!
