Folk Tales For Your Kids
So many of us grew up listening to tales and legends from the past. These folk tales still stay in our hearts. As we grow up, we equally want these stories for our children.
Growing up with video games, smartphones and youtube, we have almost left out the part of reading stories to our kids. Bringing it back to your attention and guiding you about the books, here is a list of books with folk stories for your kids.

It is the folk stories of the people living in Eastern Nepal. The tales vary from that of Kathmandu.

This book is the second volume of tales of eastern Nepal and contains 19 selected pieces. The book includes the folklores of the Kirati people. It is quite an engaging book with easy to read stories. It lets your kid know about Kirati culture and beliefs.
There are more of these books if you look in a good bookstore. Reading helps your kid with both vocabulary and knowledge.
